Secondly, acetate frames often carry a higher price tag. This stems from the wide range of colours available, their sophisticated appearance, and the substantial, high-quality feel they offer. Numerous designer sunglasses employ acetate frames, which convey a more sophisticated aesthetic than polycarbonate plastic, lacking that plastic feel. Naturally, acetate frames carry slightly more weight.
